Joanne's Sunchi

Finally got these to upload! Sunchi is papamiento for Kiss... so this site is Joanne's Kiss. Nice dive. Vis was not the best above 25 feet. But the reef was nice. Did about 60-70max depth for almost an hour. The ride out was smooth as silk but the ride in was rough. I dove with two couples that stay here the same week every year. This is a banded coral shrimp that was living in a large tube sponge. Not the most exciting reef creature down there. ( In fact they are quite common ) But, the setting was perfect for a photo. And he was not moving so I could play around with the settings and take a bunch of pics to get a good one. This is the best of the bunch.

I also took a few photo's of this fish. He was moving around but was not too spooked at my presence. I have never seen this fish before. Or, at least I don't remember seeing him.

There are about a dozen Bio college students here with their professors. Before I went on this dive Donna and I were talking to them and Donna was quizzing them on reef fish for their upcoming test on Wednesday eveing. So, when I got this one I knew right where to head for a Fish ID. Canadians are smart.... they got this one in about a minute. Scrawled Filefish. Who would have thought.
