Off to Red Slave and then to the Flamingos

It is early Friday morning... about 5am. The internet started getting flaky last night so I did not get this posted. After diving Red Beryl. We were heading down to see the famingos and we passed the "Red Slave" dive site. Named for the slave huts you can see in the picture. This photo was taken facing west twoard the salt mines. The slaves that worked the salt mines used to live in these huts. As we were passing we stopped to talk to some other divers we had met a few days before. They told us there was a Seahorse on the site and gave us the depth to find him at.

We still needed to blow off some nitrogen from the last dive so we headed around the southern tip of the island to see the famingos. This photo is Donna and Alex walking out to get a better look.

And this is a better look. Bonaire is famous for its Flamingos.
